My journey to yoga began out of a need to fit in. As a quiet teen, I had trouble expressing my emotions and kept many things to myself. When I began practicing yoga, I quickly became aware of the comfort I found in the routines of the poses and sequences. I loved that the practice kept my body fit, but more importantly, my mind in balance. I started my career as an elementary school teacher and began to need the practice in my life even more.
I opened Haven Yoga in March 2023. I am so excited to love and grow in this space! See you soon!
Alanna is a 500 hour RYT. She has been practicing yoga since she was 15 and has been teaching yoga for over 12 years.
Cathy is an ERYT 200 with additional certification in Holy Fire Reiki 1 and 2.
Her class style is Vinyasa flow which is inspiring and welcoming with a little bit of edge that creates space for yogis to grow, discover, or simply be.

My practice of yoga began in 2018, when I took a week off from work and family life. I went to a beloved, quiet place in Vermont where I intuitively began to look inside and explore alternative ways of living and being.
The constant in this week off was a daily practice of Fluid Yoga in the vinyasa tradition. I found a deep sense of presence by practicing intentionally fluid movement and mindful meditation.
Since those days of exploration, I have continued to learn and deepen my practice of yoga and meditation. I find yoga provides me with a sense of calm, peace, letting go and being present. Breath and breathing have become central to my practice. Yoga has grown beyond the mat and has become a lifestyle, a way of be-ing.
My path to yoga began in 2019 when I was looking for a way to find peace and a release from the stresses at work. I am a true believer in the benefits of self-care and think that in order to give to others and to be the best version of yourself it is important to look after yourself, both physically and mentally. Yoga is a wonderful method of self-care for the body, the mind, and the soul.
As the Office Assistant at Haven Yoga, I hope to collaborate with Alanna to ensure the joys and the benefits of yoga are felt by each person who steps through the door. It is my sincerest desire to make everyone feel welcome and included as I practice together with you. See you on your mat!
Jaimie's passion for yoga began as a personal journey of self-discovery and inner transformation in 2018. Drawn by the profound impact the practice had on her physical, mental, and emotional well-being, she pursued her certification as a yoga teacher.

Chiara is a 200-hour RYT. She began practicing yoga for strength and exercise, but now realizes how it has transformed into much more than that.
She loves practicing as a way to ground into her body and mind, and to help her understand the limits of what she can do and how to surpass them.
She enjoys practicing with fun music and working up a sweat!
Rachel collaborates with Haven Yoga Studio's staff to create and share engaging social media content for our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
This keeps Haven clients informed about all the studio's happenings.
Through these platforms, Rachel aims to attract more yogis and grow Haven's community.
